Shoe Palace Enhances Product Visibility and Scales Private Label with Centric PLM
Centric Software® has announced the successful implementation of Centric PLM™ at Shoe Palace, enabling the leading U.S. footwear and apparel retailer to improve product visibility, streamline product development workflows and efficiently scale its growing private label business.
Founded in 1993 and headquartered in San Jose, California, Shoe Palace operates more than 250 retail stores across the United States alongside a rapidly growing e-commerce business. Known for its athletic footwear, streetwear and exclusive brand collaborations, the retailer sought a centralized solution to manage increasing product complexity while supporting a lean product development team.
Since deploying Centric PLM, Shoe Palace has replaced fragmented manual processes with a centralized digital platform that serves as a single source of truth for product information. Organized by season, brand and style, the platform enables teams to easily access product data, monitor development progress and manage more than 300 active SKUs with greater efficiency.
According to My Nguyen, Product Development Manager at Shoe Palace, the platform has significantly improved visibility across the product development lifecycle.
“With Centric PLM it’s easy to find information, track progress across our 300+ current SKUs and keep everyone aligned,” Nguyen said.
The retailer has increased its product volume by approximately 30% while maintaining a lean operational structure. By consolidating product specifications, communications and workflows into one platform, Shoe Palace has strengthened collaboration across internal teams and external vendor partners.
Nguyen added that the improved organization has also accelerated employee onboarding.
“Our product volume has increased by around 30% this year, with significantly more styles to manage across the board. Having that added organization and visibility has made a huge difference, especially as we’ve brought on new team members who are now able to get up to speed much more quickly,” she said.
Following a smooth implementation, teams rapidly adopted the platform into their daily operations. The centralized system has reduced time spent searching for product information while improving workflow efficiency and vendor collaboration.
Commenting on the partnership, Fabrice Canonge, CEO of Centric Software, said the company is pleased to support Shoe Palace as it continues expanding its retail footprint and private label business by delivering greater visibility, operational efficiency and product development control.
The implementation highlights the growing adoption of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions within the retail industry as brands increasingly focus on digital transformation, faster product development and more efficient collaboration across global supply chains.
