Indian actor Sonu Sood has leased a commercial unit in Versova, Andheri West, Mumbai, in a transaction valued at ₹3.52 crore over the lease period, according to property registration documents reviewed by Square Yards. The transaction was registered in October 2026 with the Maharashtra Inspector General of Registration (IGR).
Lease Details and Rental Structure
The commercial property is located in Aram Nagar, Versova, Andheri West. The agreement outlines a five-year rental structure, with an annual increase of approximately 8%.
The rent starts at ₹5 lakh in the first year. It rises to ₹5.40 lakh in the second year, ₹5.83 lakh in the third year, ₹6.29 lakh in the fourth year and ₹6.80 lakh in the fifth year.
The transaction also involved a security deposit of ₹32 lakh, stamp duty of ₹93,000 and registration charges of ₹1,000.
Versova’s Connectivity and Real Estate Appeal
Versova is a well-connected locality in Mumbai’s western suburbs. Link Road, SV Road, Versova Metro Station and the nearby Andheri railway station provide access to key commercial and residential areas.
The neighbourhood also offers access to entertainment venues, restaurants, retail destinations, educational institutions and healthcare facilities. Its coastal setting and proximity to business districts such as Andheri East, Goregaon and Bandra Kurla Complex support its appeal among residents and businesses.
The proposed Versova–Bandra Sea Link is expected to further improve connectivity in the western suburbs upon completion.
