StarlinePS Enterprises Ltd. has announced a strategic investment of ₹160 crore in Celloraa Energy Pvt. Ltd. to establish a 1.2 GW state-of-the-art Domestic Content Requirement (DCR)-compliant solar cell manufacturing facility in Surat, Gujarat.
The investment aims to strengthen India’s domestic renewable energy manufacturing capabilities and support the country’s efforts to expand indigenous clean energy production.
The upcoming manufacturing facility will focus on producing DCR-compliant solar cells, aligning with India’s initiatives to increase local manufacturing under the Atmanirbhar Bharat vision and meet the growing demand for domestically produced solar components.
Shwet Koradiya, Director of StarlinePS Enterprises Ltd., said the investment reflects the company’s confidence in India’s rapidly growing renewable energy manufacturing sector and Celloraa Energy’s long-term vision. He added that the partnership supports technological innovation, manufacturing excellence and India’s transition towards clean energy.
