Universal Fibers, Inc. is excited to announce the opening of Universal Fibers Japan, a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Osaka. This expansion strengthens our commitment to the Japanese market, where we have proudly served for over two decades from our Asia Pacific base.

Strengthening Our Presence in a Key Market

“Japan is a pivotal market for us, and the establishment of Universal Fibers Japan allows us to enhance our local presence significantly,” said Roger Seow, VP of International Sales. “By investing in local manufacturing and talent, we are thrilled to introduce Thrive® matter, the world’s lowest carbon footprint fiber, to the Japanese market.”

Cutting-Edge Manufacturing for Diverse Industries

The Osaka facility will specialize in the production of high-performance textured yarns, including type 6 and type 66 nylon chemistries. This expansion enables us to serve a wide range of industries, including commercial, residential, and automotive sectors.

Faster Delivery, Greater Customer Engagement

With operations now based in Japan, Universal Fibers is positioned to offer shorter lead times, improved logistics, and more direct customer support.
