Syensqo has entered into a new multi-year supply agreement with Airbus, strengthening its long-standing relationship with one of the world’s leading aerospace manufacturers. The agreement covers a broad portfolio of advanced composite materials and adhesives supporting Airbus programs across commercial aircraft, space and defense, and helicopter platforms.
Under the agreement, Syensqo will continue supplying prepregs, resin transfer molding (RTM) resins, adhesives and primers from its advanced materials portfolio. These solutions are designed to support the demanding performance, manufacturing and production requirements of aerospace applications.
“This contract reflects our long-standing commitment to the aerospace industry and reinforces our position as a trusted partner to one of the sector’s leading OEMs. We look forward to deepening our commercial and technical collaboration with Airbus as we work together to support the future growth of aerospace manufacturing,” said Rodrigo Elizondo, President, Syensqo Composite Materials.
The new agreement comes as the global aerospace and defense industry experiences strong growth, driven by rising demand for advanced materials that can enable efficient manufacturing processes while supporting increasingly ambitious aircraft production rates.
Syensqo’s global manufacturing network, application development capabilities and aerospace expertise position the company to support both original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and Tier suppliers as the industry responds to evolving production and technology requirements.
Aerospace remains a key growth market for Syensqo. The company expects sustained demand in civil aviation to contribute to volume growth in its Composite Materials business throughout 2026.
The agreement with Airbus further strengthens Syensqo’s position in the aerospace materials market and highlights the growing importance of advanced composites, resins, adhesives and related technologies in next-generation aircraft manufacturing.
