Texpreneurs Get-Together 2025: Celebrating Collaboration, Leadership & Innovation in Textiles

Mumbai, 14 June 2025 — The Texpreneurs community—India’s vibrant network of over 300 textile entrepreneurs—gathered for an evening of inspiration, connection, and recognition at the Texpreneurs Get-Together 2025, held at Otters Club, Mumbai.

Launched by Mr. Sharad Tandon, CEO of Standon Consulting, the Texpreneurs platform started modestly with just nine members and has flourished into a powerful, collaborative ecosystem with a non-commercial, peer-driven approach. The aim: to foster learning, leadership, and mutual growth within India’s textile sector.

Honouring Textile Trailblazers:
Five outstanding industry professionals were honoured for their exceptional contributions to textile innovation, sustainability, and leadership:

  • Mr. Pratik Patni – Montek, Ichalkaranji

  • Mr. Rohit Sethia – Ginza Industries, Surat

  • Mr. Haresh Kumar – Hema Group, Bhiwandi

  • Mr. Saurabh – Bhilwara

  • Mr. Romil Jain – Founder, Dennis Lingo

These honourees embody the spirit of progress and forward-thinking that Texpreneurs aims to nurture.

Keynote Wisdom:
The keynote address was delivered by Mr. Sunil Dhawan, a seasoned expert in textile finance, SME advisory, and IPO strategy. With over three decades of industry experience and a pivotal role in RSWM Ltd. and Ken Enterprises’ IPO success, Mr. Dhawan shared valuable insights on financial readiness, scaling, and creating lasting value for textile SMEs.

A Platform for Growth:
The event wasn’t about grand speeches or formalities—it was an authentic, dialogue-driven space where entrepreneurs engaged in one-on-one conversations, exchanged stories, and found inspiration through genuine peer interactions.

Mr. Sharad Tandon emphasized that “the future of Indian textiles lies in shared knowledge, honest leadership, and collaborative innovation.” The Texpreneurs community remains committed to building a supportive, non-commercial network that thrives on mutual respect and visionary thinking.

The evening truly reflected the heart of the movement: real people, real stories, and a shared dream of a brighter future for India’s textile industry.
