Coelima, a Portuguese company, is promoting value, quality, and service in the New York market.

Paulo Almeida, director of sales and business development for Coelima by Mabera, stated, “We still believe that’made in Portugal’ adds value and offers some great opportunities to our current and prospective customers with our continued sustainable and innovation lines.”

The firm is launching its Decadent Comfort collection for the fall/winter 2025/2026 season at the New York Home Fashions Market. Presenting three conceptual themes are Coelima:

Harmonious Retro: The company’s premium Portuguese flannels are the focal point of this all-flannel theme. A blend of patterns and yarn-dyes pays homage to vintage styles in tones of blue and brown.

Romantic Decadence: Elegant jacquards in shades of burgundy, green, and scarlet are paired with timeless romantic patterns on cotton sateen structures. Isa Rodrigues, who oversees design, development, and quality assurance, described the bed as “the ultimate luxury bed.”

Grace and Embrace – This motif, which revolves around the airiness of blue, features a variety of yarn dyes with checks and stripes. The two primary materials are linen and cotton.

Apart from growing its presence in the United States, Coelima by Mabera has been utilizing e-commerce to extend its reach.

“We have been successfully growing our online business at www.coelimastore.pt for the past six months, selling to Portugal, Spain, France, and Italy,” Rodrigues stated. “We think that over the next two years, this sales channel will grow well.”

The firm is on display at the Adnaz Hotel, 485 Fifth Avenue (at E. 41st), at the New York Home Fashions Market through September 19.
