Handcrafted ceramic centrepiece and sculptural design redefine functional furniture for contemporary interiors.
The Great Eastern Home has introduced the Blunt Table, a new addition to its handcrafted ceramic collection, combining sculptural artistry with functional furniture design. Created at The Great Eastern Design Studio, the table features a blend of glass, wood and handcrafted ceramic elements designed to serve as both a practical furnishing and a statement piece.
The design reflects the company’s focus on craftsmanship and material innovation, offering a contemporary interpretation of artistic furniture.
Sculptural design with handcrafted details
The Blunt Table features a tempered glass tabletop supported by an architectural base made from sculpted wooden fins. The geometric wooden structure creates a balanced visual composition while highlighting the natural texture and warmth of the material.
At the centre of the design is a hand-forged ceramic lily, finished in deep crimson tones with a distinctive spiked form. The handcrafted ceramic element serves as the table’s focal point, adding contrast to the transparent glass and wooden base.
Blending craftsmanship with functionality
According to The Great Eastern Home, the Blunt Table combines transparent glass, handcrafted wood and ceramic materials to create a furniture piece that balances functionality with artistic expression.
Designed for living rooms, lounges and curated interior spaces, the table reflects the company’s approach to creating collectible furniture that extends beyond conventional utility.
The Blunt Table is part of The Great Eastern Home’s handcrafted ceramic collection and showcases the studio’s emphasis on design, craftsmanship and material innovation in contemporary furniture.
