Welspun is observing the luxury market and is pleased with its findings.

According to Chris Mooney, global chief marketing officer at Welspun, the company is strategically emphasizing increasing its market share in the luxury home segment during this week’s New York Home Fashions Market.

He went on, “We’re prepared to crash the party.”

The Charisma brand, which has a history dating back to the early 1900s, is where the project starts. Last spring, Welspun gave the brand a new start. Charisma is showcasing a palette of softer, darker hues with a focus on green in its most recent version.

In keeping with its theme of luxury, the company is developing an exclusive line of high-end bath and bedding products.

Superior percale constructions and sophisticated needlework techniques are included in bedding. The main materials used to manufacture bath towels are premium blends of cotton and silk, as well as Egyptian cotton.

“Hotel elegance and luxury constructions in premium materials,” according to Mooney, is how the design direction was expressed.

With its latest Haberdashery collection, Welspun is delving even further into the realm of casual luxury. Shirttail elements and an homage to menswear are features of the designs. Fabrications come in white, khaki, navy, light blue, and Nantucket red hues, as well as linen and genuine oxford fabric dyed with yarn.

Mooney described the fabrics as “the ideal choice for daydreaming about a summer on Cape Cod.”

The address of Welspun’s showroom is 10 West 33rd St.
