National, July 31, 2025: In a bold move to enhance India’s sporting ecosystem, Trident Group has announced its entry into professional golf through a strategic partnership with the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI). As the title sponsor of the inaugural Trident Open Golf Championship, the Group aims to elevate the tournament to one of the premier events in the sport’s national calendar.
The championship, offering a prize purse of INR 1 crore, will take place from November 11–14 at Chandigarh Golf Club, a venue affectionately known as the “Nursery of Indian Golf” for nurturing numerous champions.
This collaboration highlights Trident Group’s broader vision of supporting athletic excellence and fostering national pride through active engagement in sports development.
