Trident Group organised its inaugural two-day Craft and Design Workshop on 27 October 2026, bringing together artists, creative institutions, employees and children. The workshop welcomed more than 100 participants and celebrated India’s traditional art forms through hands-on activities and creative learning.

The workshop featured four activities: pottery, Batik art, Gond art and a Do-It-Yourself (DIY) workshop. Each session introduced participants to different artistic techniques and encouraged creative expression.

Himanshu Art Institute, Delhi, conducted the Batik art session. Master artist Anand Kumar Shyam from Bhopal led the Gond art workshop. Creative Arts Institute, Ludhiana, facilitated pottery, while Aubergiene, Ludhiana, conducted the DIY session.

The initiative focused on celebrating and preserving India’s artistic heritage. Participants explored traditional techniques and learned about the cultural significance of Indian craftsmanship.

The workshop also encouraged learning across generations. Children discovered new art forms and developed creative skills, while adults had an opportunity to reconnect with India’s cultural traditions.

Through the Craft and Design Workshop, Trident Group highlighted the importance of passing traditional crafts on to future generations. The initiative also supported creative engagement, cultural appreciation and greater awareness of the artists and artisan communities who preserve these practices.
