Trident Group Receives HR Excellence Award at TBD Textile Connect

24 December 2024, Chandigarh—  The renowned TBD Textile Connect – Textile & Apparel Industry HR Summit Excellence Awards honored Trident Group, a multinational company worth over $2 billion, for its exceptional HR practices. With the help of the Indian government’s Ministry of Textiles, Trident Group won in several important categories, such as Best Employer Manufacturing, Best HR Practice, Excellence in Campus Hiring and Recruitment, and Workforce Diversity.

At a recent ceremony in Noida, Union Minister of Textiles Giriraj Singh presented the prizes and praised Trident Group for its leadership in promoting HR innovation and cultivating a diverse and inclusive workforce.

These honors highlight the Group’s commitment to fostering a vibrant workplace that values diversity, employee development, and long-term growth, which fuels its success on a worldwide scale.

Trident Group’s efforts to diversify its personnel are noteworthy, especially the “Takshashila” program.

By reducing educational barriers, this innovative program empowers children from a variety of educational backgrounds, including ITI, diplomas, and 10+2. With starting earnings of ₹12 lakhs annually, Takshashila gives these people excellent job possibilities in the textile sector, allowing them to make money, gain knowledge, and develop.

The local economy is greatly impacted by Trident’s ongoing expansion. The company intends to invest an additional ₹3,000 crore in Madhya Pradesh, increasing its workforce from 12,000 to over 15,000 and generating 3,000 new employment.

The business has shown its persistent commitment to helping the region flourish through its investments in hiring and skill-building, especially through the Takshashila program.
