Trident Group has received multiple national recognitions at the 10th CII National Energy Efficiency Circle Competition 2026, held on 2–3 July 2026 under the theme “Powering the Net Zero Goals.” The awards acknowledge the company’s continued efforts in energy efficiency, sustainability and responsible manufacturing.
At the national competition, Trident Group emerged as the National Winner in the Best Case Study on Low Carbon/Carbon Neutral Initiatives & Net Zero Roadmap (Large/Medium Sector) category. The company also secured the National Gold Winner Award for Best Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Practices (Large Category) and received Strong Commitment Recognition under the Best Energy Efficient Organization (Large/Medium Sector) category.
The categories for Best Case Study on Low Carbon/Carbon Neutral Initiatives & Net Zero Roadmap and Best ESG Practices were introduced by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) for the first time in 2026, making the recognition particularly notable.
In addition, Trident Group received the Excellent Energy Efficient Organization award for the third time, following previous recognitions in 2016 and 2017, highlighting its long-term focus on improving energy performance and sustainable operations.
Organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), the annual competition serves as a national platform for organisations to showcase advancements in energy efficiency, sustainability and climate action. The 2026 edition brought together businesses, technology providers and sustainability professionals to exchange best practices and support India’s transition towards its net zero goals.
According to the company, the awards reflect its ongoing commitment to integrating sustainability into business strategy, innovation and operational excellence. Trident stated that the recognition also acknowledges the collective efforts of its employees in driving responsible growth and creating long-term value through sustainable manufacturing practices.
