Trident Limited Reports Strong Q1 FY27 Results with Higher Revenue, EBITDA and Profit
Trident Limited has announced its financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026, reporting higher revenue, profitability and operational performance, supported by improved yarn prices, disciplined cost management and enhanced manufacturing efficiencies.
The company recorded consolidated total income of INR 1,803 crore during Q1 FY27, reflecting an increase of 9% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) and 4% year-on-year (YoY). Consolidated EBITDA stood at INR 316 crore, registering 27% sequential growth and a 1% increase over the corresponding quarter last year.
Net profit for the quarter rose to INR 158 crore, marking a 55% QoQ increase and 13% YoY growth. Profit Before Tax (PBT) reached INR 216 crore, while the PBT margin improved to 11.99%, reflecting stronger operational performance.
The company’s balance sheet remained healthy, with Net Debt/EBITDA at 0.83 times, Net Debt/Equity at 0.22 times, and net debt of INR 1,025 crore.
Commenting on the quarterly performance, Deepak Nanda, Managing Director, Trident Limited, said the company delivered a strong start to FY27 despite a dynamic global business environment.
“Trident Limited delivered a strong performance in Q1FY27, reporting consolidated total income of INR 1,803 crore, up 4.4% YoY and 9.3% QoQ. EBITDA stood at INR 316 crore, registering a robust 27.4% sequential growth, while Profit Before Tax increased to INR 216 crore, reflecting a 15.2% YoY growth. Net Profit for the quarter grew by 12.96% YoY to INR 158 crore, supported by improved yarn prices, disciplined cost management and improved operational efficiencies. The expansion in PBT margin to 11.99% and strong profitability growth underscores the resilience of our business model and our ability to create sustainable value despite a dynamic global operating environment.”
He added that operational improvements contributed significantly to the company’s performance.
“Operationally, the quarter reflected the strength of our execution capabilities and continued focus on productivity enhancement. Improved cost efficiencies, better asset utilisation and disciplined operational management contributed to healthy margin expansion and strong sequential improvement in earnings.”

During the quarter, the Yarn business generated consolidated revenue of INR 954 crore, while the Home Textile business reported consolidated revenue of INR 941 crore. The Paper and Chemicals business contributed INR 297 crore in consolidated revenue.
