The new Egyptian Pavilion highlights the advantages of doing business with Egyptian manufacturers and provides UK and European buyers with a special chance to source ethically. Egyptian manufacturers offer a more affordable sourcing option because of their competitive operating expenses without sacrificing quality, shorter lead times, and quicker shipping to Europe.
As a result of better ethical procedures, many Egyptian manufacturers now follow international labor and sustainability standards, such as BSCI, WRAP, and OEKO-TEX certifications. Additionally, Egyptian-sourced goods are now more reasonably priced and competitive internationally because to favorable trade accords and lower tariffs from agreements like the EU-Egypt Association Agreement, COMESA (Africa), and regional pacts with the Middle East.
In collaboration with the Handloom Export Promotion Council, the Indian Pavilion will showcase the country’s thriving textile sector. The handloom industry is the second-largest employment sector in India and is essential to the nation’s economy. The finest of Indian workmanship will be displayed to visitors through beautiful craftsmanship and an extensive selection of soft furnishings and textiles.
