Vipul Organics Limited (BSE: VIPULORG / 530627), a specialty chemicals company, has commenced commercial production at its greenfield manufacturing facility in Sayakha, Gujarat. The milestone was marked by a formal Muhurat ceremony, signalling the transition of the facility from construction to commercial operations.

As part of the company’s broader footprint-rationalisation strategy, pigment manufacturing currently undertaken at its Tarapur facility in Maharashtra is being consolidated at the new Sayakha manufacturing hub. The move is expected to strengthen operational integration while providing the company with additional capacity to support future growth.

The Sayakha facility has been designed with the potential to support more than 3,600 MT of annual pigment production. Production will commence at approximately 1,800 MT, with the company retaining significant headroom to scale capacity in line with market demand.

Located on an industrial plot measuring 24,633.11 square metres, acquired from the Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC), the facility forms part of Gujarat’s Petroleum, Chemicals and Petrochemicals Investment Region (PCPIR).

Its strategic location on the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor, near the proposed Dedicated Freight Corridor and adjacent to Dahej Port, is expected to provide Vipul Organics with logistical advantages for serving both domestic and international markets.

Integrated Manufacturing Base

The Sayakha site is being developed as a consolidated manufacturing base for Vipul Organics’ expanding portfolio. In addition to pigment powder production, the facility houses the membrane manufacturing operations of the company’s unit, AdiMem Technologies.

AdiMem Technologies commenced commercial sales of its indigenously developed Reverse Osmosis (RO) and Ultrafiltration (UF) membranes earlier this year, adding another growth segment to Vipul Organics’ business portfolio.

Commenting on the commencement of production, Mr. Vipul P. Shah, Managing Director, Vipul Organics Limited, said, “The commencement of production at Sayakha is a defining milestone in Vipul Organics’ growth journey. This facility has been built to expand our pigment powder capacity, bring our membrane and solvent dyes capabilities under one roof, and give us a strategically located, port-adjacent base from which to serve our customers within the country and across the world. As production stabilises over the coming quarters, we expect Sayakha to be a meaningful contributor to both our capacity and our revenue diversification, and we remain confident of sustaining the growth momentum we built through FY 2025-26 as we scale up this facility through FY 2026-27.”

The commissioning of the Sayakha facility comes as Vipul Organics continues to expand its product portfolio and international presence. The company recently entered into an exclusive European distribution partnership with Omya Group for its pigment ranges and also commercially launched its membrane solutions through AdiMem Technologies.

With Sayakha now operational, Vipul Organics aims to leverage an integrated, strategically located manufacturing base to support the continued expansion of its pigments, dyes and membrane businesses, while strengthening its ability to serve customers in India and overseas markets.
