Welspun Living’s Q2 earnings increased slightly to Rs 202.4 cr.

Delhi, New Delhi: Welspun Living Ltd., a key player in the home textiles industry, announced on Monday that its second quarter consolidated net profit, which ended on September 30, 2024, increased marginally to Rs 202.4 crore.

According to a regulatory filing by Welspun Living Ltd, the business reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 200.41 crore for the equivalent quarter of the previous fiscal year.

According to the report, consolidated revenue from operations was Rs 2,873.09 crore, down from Rs 2,509.08 crore in the same period last year.

According to the corporation, total expenses in the second quarter were Rs 2,655.87 crore, up from Rs 2,283.42 crore in the same quarter last year.

Welspun Living reported its highest-ever consolidated quarterly revenues in Q2FY25, increasing by 15.5% despite generally unfavorable worldwide conditions due to Red Sea difficulties, according to Welspun Group Chairman BK Goenka.

“The flooring business reported the highest quarterly revenues, and emerging businesses of global brands, domestic consumers, and advanced textiles are continuing to flourish from strength to strength and grew 22% in Q2FY25,” he continued.

He noted that despite weak retail market sentiments, domestic consumer business continued to demonstrate resilience throughout the quarter.
