Welspun is showcasing advancements in pillows, having just started domestic production at its basic bedding plant in Ohio.
The manufacturer’s unique Gx technology, which is intended to improve sleep quality and recovery, seeks to completely transform the sleeping experience. The line of pillows with the distinctive resistance bands is made to offer engineered support and withstand flattening with repeated use.
“Welspun is poised to revolutionize sleep comfort in North America with the launch of this special patented ingredient technology, signifying an important turning point in the company’s journey towards unmatched customer excellence and capturing a sizeable market share, reaffirming our commitment to innovation and sleep.” stated Keyur Parekh, CEO of Welspun Living Limited’s worldwide business.
Starting up at this brand-new, completely automated factory, Welspun “positions itself at the forefront, offering unique innovations for American consumers,” he continued. “This action is a part of a larger expansion plan that aims to enhance customer and sleep experiences with top-notch products, making Welspun a’sleep destination,'” he continued.
The Ohio-based manufacturing facility of Welspun has the capacity to produce 13.5 million pillows a year. The new facility supports Welspun’s wide range of products, which includes blankets, mattress pads, comforters, sleep pillows, and pillow covers, in addition to boasting about its production capability. The building caters to e-commerce, institutional, retail, and omni channels.
The company will debut a 2,000-square-foot utility display in its larger booth at the New York Home Fashions Market. It will be known as the Better Sleep Lab and have a wide range of pillows.
A complete selection of performance-enhanced basic bedding products, including branded lines, will also be available in the utility area. Along with its own brands Kindlier and WelHome, Welspun also offers licensed lines of bedding under the Martha Stewart, Charisma, and Kate Shand names. In the future, more brand extensions are anticipated.
Christopher Mooney, global chief marketing officer of Welspun, stated, “It’s a full statement around our sleep system concept – layering from mattress pads to comforters to sleep pillows.”
