WTiN Circularity Week 2026 to Address Commercial Scaling of Circular Textile Systems

Three-day virtual event will explore recycling technologies, factory integration, compliance and financing to accelerate circularity across the textile and apparel industry.

The World Textile Information Network (WTiN) has announced the official agenda for the second edition of Textile & Apparel Circularity Week, scheduled to take place virtually from 10–12 November 2026.

Following a successful inaugural event in 2025, this year’s programme shifts its focus from broad sustainability concepts to the technical, operational and financial challenges involved in scaling circular systems across global textile and apparel supply chains.

Designed for textile manufacturers, spinners, brands, retailers and technology providers, the three-day event aims to provide practical solutions for integrating resource recovery and circular manufacturing into existing commercial operations.

Three-Day Programme Focus

The agenda is structured around three key themes:

Day 1 – Materials and Design
The opening day will examine technical challenges in textile recycling, including advances in elastane separation in collaboration with Fashion for Good, alongside developments in next-generation fibre technologies.

Day 2 – Technology and Production
Sessions will focus on engineering approaches for integrating circular technologies into existing manufacturing facilities while minimising production disruptions and machinery downtime.

Day 3 – Infrastructure, Finance and Compliance
The final day will address evolving regulatory requirements, including Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) frameworks, financing models and commercial strategies needed to make circularity economically viable.

Industry Support and Expert Participation

The 2026 edition is supported by Interloop, the event’s official partner and a leading vertically integrated textile manufacturer, as well as Ecomondo, Europe’s international exhibition platform dedicated to green technologies and the circular economy.

The conference will feature technical presentations, case studies, expert panel discussions and a PechaKucha session involving specialists from organisations including Sächsisches Textilforschungsinstitut (STFI), Fashion for Good and drip by drip.

Commenting on the event, Madelaine Thomas, Managing Director of WTiN, said the industry has moved beyond pilot projects and is now focused on implementing scalable circular solutions. She noted that businesses increasingly require practical engineering expertise, robust data and sustainable financial models to meet emerging regulatory requirements and integrate circularity into everyday manufacturing operations.

Registration for WTiN Textile & Apparel Circularity Week 2026 is now open. WTiN Premium members will receive full access to the live event, together with exclusive post-event intelligence reports and analyst insights.
