The owners of the patented weaveRight Technology quick dry towel structure have inked an exclusivity agreement with Yunus USA for North America.

By entering into the deal, Yunus is releasing the traditional “quick dry” towel from the limitations of its zero-twist structure.

The construction of a terry towel’s ground, which allows moisture to seep outward more quickly than with a conventionally woven terry cloth ground, is covered by the weaveRight patent. As a result, both naturally and in a dryer, the towel can dry more quickly than typically woven terry cloth towels.

The vertically integrated production of sheets, top-of-bed, window, shower, and basic bedding by the bedding maker is expanded by this agreement. According to Jeffrey Kambak, President of Yunus USA, Yunus is collaborating with some of the leading towel producers in Pakistan, Turkey, and India for its entry into the terry market.

Because of our sourcing flexibility, we are able to select the highest-quality products from all three nations to supply several classic projects. With certain retail partners, we already have handshake agreements in place, and we’re trying to translate those pledges to Pos,” he continued.

According to Kambak, the “quick dry” towel design was developed approximately 15 years ago in response to the rapidly rising expense of cotton. To make up for this, manufacturers used less cotton in their towels. To expedite drying, they installed a zero-twist loop system, which opened the loops and enhanced air flow.

The problem is that, because they were always contrasted with comparable weight ring spun towels, only zero twist towels could be really deemed “quick dry.” When compared to the same construction using a regular cotton towel ground, the weaveRight proprietary towel ground makes every construction rapid drying, therefore for the first time in the business, we can promote any towel construction as “quick dry,” he said.

According to Yunus, a 700 GSM 2-ply WeaveRight towel can be advertised as “quick dry” because it dries more quickly than a 700 GSM cotton towel with the same specifications.

The reason for the partnership between Yunus and weaveRight Technology’s creator and patent holder, Matt Dalton, is that both businesses share a common goal for solution-focused innovation.

Dalton continued, “The business has done a great job elevating itself to the top of the bedding manufacturers landscape.” “I think they’ll approach the weaveRight line of beach and bath products with the same level of development and, in the end, execution.”

The weaveRight terry collections will have its debut by Yunus at the New York Home Fashions Market.

The company’s fourth-floor showroom in New York is situated at 330 Fifth Avenue.
