Alok Industries’ Home Textiles Division is set to unveil a new retail architecture at its Madison Avenue showroom during Fall 2026 NY Home Fashions Market Week, taking place from September 14 to 17 in New York.
Developed in collaboration with design partner Studio Heritage Living (SHL), the new concept aims to introduce a more consumer-centric approach to home textiles merchandising. The complete retail vision will be revealed during Market Week, while the initial unveiling will offer retail partners and industry stakeholders a preview of Alok Industries’ approach to the evolving home textiles retail landscape.
The initiative marks a strategic step for Alok Industries as it looks beyond product manufacturing to create stronger and more engaging retail experiences for its partners.
A New Approach to Home Textile Retail
The new retail architecture has been developed to rethink how consumers interact with home textile collections, particularly bedding and bath products. The concept brings together product strategy, packaging, merchandising and retail design under a unified approach.
Biji Chacko, COO of Alok Industries, said, “We’ve always led with innovation on the fibre side. This year, we’re taking the next step with a new retail architecture that reimagines how consumers experience our home textiles portfolio. This new retail vision reflects Alok Industries’ commitment to meaningful retail innovation, brought to life with the design expertise of Studio Heritage Living (SHL). We are excited to unveil the complete concept at Market Week.”
According to the company, the initiative is intended to strengthen the connection between product innovation and consumer-facing retail experiences.
Avinash Malani, Divisional Head, Alok Industries, added, “This marks an important milestone in our journey to evolve beyond product manufacturing and create stronger retail experiences for our partners. We’re looking forward to showcasing this new approach at Market Week and sharing more about what it means for the future of home textiles.”
Collaboration With Studio Heritage Living
Studio Heritage Living has contributed design and merchandising expertise across several elements of the initiative, including product strategy, packaging and retail architecture.
Disha Shah, founder of Studio Heritage Living, said, “Over the last 25 years, I’ve worked across India’s and the world’s textile supply chains, helping global brands bridge the gap between manufacturing excellence and consumer relevance. This collaboration reflects a shared vision of creating retail experiences that are built around consumers, and we’re excited to unveil the complete concept together at Market Week.”
The collaboration seeks to integrate product development, packaging, merchandising and consumer behaviour into a cohesive retail environment.
Shah further noted that the approach is designed to help retailers communicate product stories more clearly, simplify purchasing decisions and strengthen commercial outcomes. The design philosophy is also intended to extend consistently across Alok Industries’ bedding and bath collections.
Showcasing the Concept at Market Week
The new showroom concept will include sleep platforms and a bath collection, providing trade visitors with an opportunity to experience the new retail direction firsthand.
Members of the trade press and industry stakeholders can preview the concept by appointment during Fall 2026 NY Home Fashions Market Week at Alok Industries’ showroom at 105 Madison Avenue, New York, from September 14 to 17.
The unveiling reflects the growing focus within the home textiles industry on combining product innovation with consumer-centric merchandising and stronger retail experiences.
