Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles – Autumn Edition is set to return from 18–20 August 2026 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), bringing together leading home textile suppliers, designers, buyers and industry professionals from around the world.

Spread across more than 100,000 square metres, the upcoming edition will feature exhibitors from 19 countries and regions, presenting the latest developments in upholstery and sofa fabrics, bedding, curtains, sun protection textiles and other home furnishing solutions. With sustainability, evolving lifestyles and responsible innovation increasingly influencing consumer choices, the fair will highlight products that combine aesthetics, functionality and performance.

The comprehensive event is expected to provide an important sourcing and networking platform for international and domestic industry participants, while its accompanying fringe programme will offer insights into emerging design directions, consumer preferences and business opportunities.

“Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles is a very effective avenue for Chinese and international exhibitors to connect with buyers from around the world,” stated Ms Wilmet Shea, General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd. “This edition will present an even more layered sourcing landscape, further strengthening the fair’s role as an innovative hub where the industry can capture new opportunities, respond to lifestyle trends, and shape the next phase of market growth.”

Diverse international and domestic sourcing landscape

Visitors will be able to explore a broad selection of suppliers covering curtains and curtain fabrics, upholstery, sofa fabrics, bedding, sun protection and related home textile segments.

Among the highlighted exhibitors in the curtains and curtain fabrics category are Fu-tex (Hong Kong), Hangzhou Longshi Textile, Hangzhou Qijian Textile and Ningbo YIBO Curtain Decorations.

The fair will also feature prominent names in its editors and design segments, including Beijing Ya Da Home Decoration Articles, Prestigious Textiles (Shanghai), Raffinato Shanghai, SATI, SohoCUT, Ashang Aga Home Textile Design Center, DBS Lifestyle India Private Limited, Patrizia Ortenzi and Tela’s design.

The international character of the exhibition will be further strengthened through a dedicated Türkiye Zone, showcasing manufacturers such as BYT Dokuma Makina Tekstil, Dersiyon Tekstil, Isik Kadife ve Tekstil and Weavers Tekstil. The zone will provide international buyers with an opportunity to discover Türkiye’s established capabilities in home textile manufacturing and design.

Meanwhile, leading Chinese textile hubs including Haining, Hangzhou Linping, Huzhou, Shaoxing, Tongxiang and Wujiang Shengze will showcase their latest developments in curtains, upholstery, sofa fabrics and printed textiles. Their participation is expected to reinforce Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles’ position as a key gateway to China’s major textile manufacturing and innovation clusters.

International buyer interest remains strong

Global buyer participation continues to underline the importance of the Autumn Edition as a sourcing destination. Buyers from 72 countries and regions have already pre-registered, representing sectors such as retail, e-commerce, home furnishing and global sourcing.

The list of pre-registered leading buyers includes Alibaba Group, Ashley, Freshippo, IKEA, Inditex, Li & Fung, Luolai Lifestyle Technology, Man Wah, Melchers, Mercury Home Textiles, Nitori, OBI, Otto, Tesco, Togas, Walmart and Xiaohongshu.

The hosted buyer programme will further support targeted business connections, with nine delegations representing 21 markets. Participating markets include Algeria, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Morocco and Thailand.

Domestic buyer delegations will also contribute to the sourcing environment, bringing together stakeholders from hotel linen supply, e-commerce, interior design and home furnishing businesses.

Trend forecasting and sustainability take centre stage

Beyond product sourcing, the fair’s fringe programme will connect creative insights with commercial strategies through trend presentations, seminars, guided tours and industry discussions.

A key attraction will be “Intertextile International Lifestyle Trend 2027: Breathe Up!”, presented by NellyRodi™ Agency. Global Creative Director Ms Cécile Rosenstrauch will guide visitors through the Trend Area at Hall 6.1H F30, examining lifestyle directions expected to influence the 2027 season.

At InterDesign (5.1H G88), Rosenstrauch will also lead the seminar “Shape the Future of Living – Shape up!”, exploring three key concepts: RE-DECORATE, RE-CONNECT and RE-USE.

Another programme highlight, Urban Renewal and Regeneration, will examine the relationship between urban transformation, design thinking and human interaction. Curated within the “Breathe Up!” framework by trend committee member Mr Shen Lei, Founder and Design Director of Interior Architects, the session will feature an expert panel followed by a guided tour led by Mr Byron Lee, Founder of Order Studio, focusing on practical applications of products in real-life environments.

The China’s Dual Circulation Strategy for Global Home Furnishing Summit will bring together leading brands to discuss international expansion, cross-category collaboration and changing brand strategies. Case studies and business-matching opportunities will further connect strategic discussions with commercial possibilities.

Sustainability will also remain a key focus through Intertextile Talks, held at Hall 6.2H M92. As part of the Go-Green theme, the programme will spotlight sustainability developments and provide exhibitors with a platform to introduce eco-conscious textiles and technologies to buyers seeking innovative sourcing solutions.

With its combination of international sourcing, trend intelligence, design innovation and sustainability-focused discussions, Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles – Autumn Edition 2026 is positioned to provide the global home textile industry with insights into the products, technologies and lifestyle trends shaping the future of modern living.

The event is organised by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd; the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT; and the China Home Textile Association (CHTA).
