A. O. Smith has launched the Z3 Onyx Black, an under-sink RO water purifier featuring antioxidant water technology. The product offers an alternative to conventional countertop purifiers and includes a water recovery rate of up to 55%.
The Z3 combines eight-stage RO and UV purification with copper mineralisation and alkaline technology. According to the company, these features replenish minerals and enhance hydration. Its under-sink design also helps save kitchen counter space.
The purifier features a six-litre storage tank and can supply stored purified water without electricity, thanks to its hydropneumatic tank technology. It is also BPA-free and includes GlidePro™ wheels and a handle to simplify movement and maintenance.

Mr. Parag Kulkarni, Senior Vice President – International and President of A. O. Smith India, said the launch reflects the company’s focus on consumer needs, convenience and responsible water consumption.
The Z3 Onyx Black is priced at an MRP of ₹29,990 onwards. It is available through authorised local retailers and organised chain stores. The product comes with a one-year comprehensive warranty covering the RO membrane, filters and electrical parts.
