Archroma is set to highlight its latest sustainable textile innovations at China Interdye 2026, reinforcing its commitment to enabling mills and brands to achieve high performance, productivity, and environmental responsibility simultaneously.
As one of the world’s largest exhibitions dedicated to textile dyes and chemicals, China Interdye 2026 will bring together global industry professionals in Shanghai from April 15–17. Archroma will use this platform to present a wide portfolio of solutions spanning color performance, water repellency, fiber chemistry, and advanced finishing technologies.
Christine Cai, Vice President, North Asia, Archroma, said:
“China’s textile industry sits at the forefront of a global transformation – one where sustainability is no longer a differentiator but a baseline expectation. With a longstanding commitment to innovation and partnership, we are proud to help mills and brands move forward together through solutions designed to help them meet rising performance demands and tightening environmental standards. Partnering towards a sustainable future is not just our theme at this show; it is what we do every day.”
A key focus area is tackling color fade, a major sustainability issue in fashion. Archroma’s HIGH IQ® lastingcolorPRO program, powered by AVITERA® SE, is designed to maintain garment vibrancy for up to 50 washes while reducing water consumption and CO₂ emissions by up to 50%.
In response to tightening global regulations, the company will also showcase its PHOBOTEX® range of non-PFAS water repellents. These solutions provide durable performance while eliminating harmful substances, meeting standards such as bluesign®, ZDHC, and OEKO-TEX®.
Archroma is further advancing sustainable cotton processing by combining Fibre52®’s low-temperature bleaching technology with AVITERA® SE dyes. This integrated system reduces water usage, lowers emissions, and enhances fabric strength and softness while maintaining consistent quality across shades.
The company is also addressing the growing demand for high-performance automotive textiles, particularly driven by the electric vehicle sector. Its TERATOP® dyes and UV-FAST® absorbers are engineered to deliver superior color fastness and durability while supporting sustainable manufacturing practices.
All these innovations are supported by Archroma’s SUPER SYSTEMS+ platform, which integrates processing solutions from sizing to finishing. This system enables mills to reduce resource consumption, simplify chemical management, and transition toward circular production models.
With sustainability becoming a fundamental industry requirement, Archroma’s presence at China Interdye 2026 highlights practical, scalable solutions for mills navigating evolving environmental regulations and market expectations.
