BW Converting is set to showcase the capabilities of its Baldwin TexCoat® G4 precision spray finishing system at the 33rd Apparel Sourcing Show in Guatemala, highlighting technology designed to help textile mills increase finishing productivity while reducing water, chemical and energy consumption.
The event will take place from August 18 to 20, 2026, at the Tikal Futura Convention Center in Guatemala City. BW Converting will participate through its local agent, Maprimaq, at Booths 25 and 26.
The Apparel Sourcing Show is dedicated to the apparel and textile industry in the DR-CAFTA region, bringing together participants from across the supply chain, including yarn, textiles, machinery, inputs and specialised services.
Precision Finishing Technology for Textile Mills
BW Converting will present the TexCoat G4 as a solution for manufacturers seeking to improve production efficiency while gaining greater control over resource consumption.

The TexCoat G4 uses non-contact precision spray technology to apply a controlled and uniform quantity of finishing chemistry to one or both sides of the fabric. According to BW Converting, the system can reduce wet pick-up by up to 50% compared with conventional finishing processes.
The lower moisture load can also reduce water consumption and the energy required for fabric drying by as much as 50%, supporting mills seeking to improve both operational efficiency and environmental performance.
Reducing Chemical Waste and Improving Consistency
The system is designed to recycle chemistry during fabric and chemical changeovers, helping eliminate chemical waste generated during the changeover process.
Automated cleaning routines, rapid job changeovers and recipe control further support production uptime, consistency and traceability. The technology is also designed to integrate with existing textile finishing equipment, offering mills a way to increase output without necessarily installing an additional complete finishing line.
Its non-contact application process can also help avoid bath contamination and chemical dilution during wet-on-wet applications, supporting more consistent finishing results across production runs.
Zaman Textile Mills Reports Productivity Gains
The reported experience of Zaman Textile Mills in Pakistan highlights the potential production benefits of the technology.
“Compared with machines not equipped with TexCoat G4, we have achieved 30 percent more production with the system’s aerosol spray technology,” said Atif Siddiqui, Technical Director, Zaman Textile Mills.
“Chemical usage has also decreased by up to 50 percent compared to our earlier methods. Compared with the conventional method, TexCoat G4 improves the hand feel of the fabric and the overall quality of the finished product.”
Zaman Textile Mills also reported consistent chemical application across the full fabric width during extended production runs. The reduced finishing solution applied to the fabric enabled the mill to increase machine speed and production output while lowering utility and chemical costs.
