DOUGLAS Group has selected Centric Software’s Centric PLM to improve product development for its Corporate Brands business. The move supports the company’s wider digital plan.

The platform will bring product data into one place. It will also help teams work with suppliers, meet rules and manage product tasks with greater ease.

Making Product Development Easier

DOUGLAS Group runs the DOUGLAS, NOCIBÉ, Parfumdreams and Niche Beauty brands. The Group has about 1,970 stores in 22 countries. It also runs online shops for beauty customers across Europe.

The Corporate Brands business has grown over time. As a result, product work has become more complex. Teams stored data, approvals and files in different places. This made it harder to track work and use the same process across teams.

Centric PLM will give DOUGLAS Group one place to manage product data, approvals and tasks. It will also support Product Information File (PIF) work and help the company meet product rules.

Better Work With Suppliers

DOUGLAS Group chose Centric PLM after it reviewed several options. The company valued Centric Software’s work in cosmetics and personal care. It also valued the platform’s support for Corporate Brands and product rules.

valantic will be the implementation partner. The company will help launch the platform. It will also help teams and suppliers use clear and simple work steps.

Lena Krömer, SVP Corporate Brands at DOUGLAS Group, said the company needed more clear data and better control as the business grew. She also said the company needed a PLM platform that could grow with the business.

Helping Teams Bring Products to Market

With Centric PLM, DOUGLAS Group expects to speed up product work and improve access to key data. The platform will also help the company build stronger supplier links and manage product rules.

Fabrice Canonge, CEO at Centric Software, said the solution will help DOUGLAS Group make product work easier and support the growth of its Corporate Brands business.

The partnership will bring product work, supplier tasks and compliance into one platform.
