Heimtextil 2027 has announced a revamped exhibition layout for its Carpets & Rugs segment, introducing a more targeted floor plan designed to better connect manufacturers with specialist retailers, contract buyers and large-scale volume retailers.
As part of the restructuring, the international home and contract textiles trade fair will launch a new premium showcase titled Carpets & Rugs Excellence, featuring a curated selection of international volume manufacturers chosen by an independent jury of industry experts.
Under the new layout, Halls 11.0, 12.0 and 12.1 will bring together volume manufacturers and major buyers from around the world, alongside exhibitors showcasing both handwoven and machine-made carpets.
The newly introduced Carpets & Rugs Excellence section in Hall 11.0 will spotlight selected premium carpet manufacturers, offering buyers access to a carefully curated range of products and suppliers.
Meanwhile, Hall 3.1 will feature machine-made carpets along with suppliers of fibres, yarns and textile technologies. The hall will be positioned alongside the Decorative & Furniture Fabrics showcase, providing direct access to specialist retailers and contract business professionals.
Hall 3.0 will display hand-knotted one-of-a-kind rugs, premium doormats and flooring solutions as part of Heimtextil’s expanded Interior Design Concepts: Windows, Wall & Floor area, presenting integrated interior design solutions.
Commenting on the new exhibition concept, Bettina Bär, Director of Heimtextil, said the event continues to evolve in collaboration with the industry to create a more focused business platform for manufacturers, brands and buyers from across the globe.
The updated layout is intended to improve product visibility, enhance buyer navigation and strengthen business opportunities across the global carpets and rugs sector.
Heimtextil 2027 will be held at Messe Frankfurt in Frankfurt, Germany, from 12–15 January 2027.
