The 19th edition of HGH India, India’s leading trade show for home textiles, home décor, home furniture, houseware and gifts, concluded successfully in Mumbai after four days of robust business engagement, trend discovery and innovation. Held from June 30 to July 3, 2026, at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, the exhibition attracted 44,743 visitors from 752 Indian cities and 34 countries, highlighting the growing strength of India’s home and lifestyle market.

Organised by Texzone Information Services Pvt. Speaking on the success of the event, Arun Roongta, Managing Director of Texzone Information Services Pvt. Ltd., said the strong participation from retailers, architects, designers, manufacturers and sourcing professionals reflected a home products industry that continues to evolve with greater design sophistication, innovation and commercial ambition.

Immersive Pavilions Enhance Buyer Experience

A major highlight of the exhibition was its curated thematic pavilions, designed to offer buyers immersive product discovery and sourcing experiences.

The Smart Kitchen Pavilion showcased the latest innovations in kitchen technology, functionality and design through live demonstrations by renowned chefs including Chef Saransh Goila and Dr. Chef Parvinder Singh Bali, while Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi and Chef Vicky Ratnani also visited the event.

The Trends 2026–27 showcase, themed “PreSense,” presented future colour palettes, materials, textures and design directions, offering valuable insights for product designers, manufacturers, architects, retailers and sourcing professionals.

Supported by MATEXIL and the National Technical Textiles Mission (NTTM), Ministry of Textiles, the HomeTech Pavilion highlighted high-performance technical textiles for residential applications, including flame-retardant fabrics, antimicrobial bedding and sustainable material innovations.

The Sustainability Pavilion featured eco-friendly home products made from renewable, recycled and biodegradable materials, demonstrating how sustainability continues to influence product development and consumer preferences across the home sector.
