In order to better serve its customers on the West Coast and in Canada, Bedgear opened a new 100,000-square-foot manufacturing and distribution plant in Salt Lake City.

The company’s California building will be replaced by the new $3 million high-cube structure, which was revealed last October. The factory’s layout is comparable to that of Bedgear’s Rock Hill, South Carolina, activities.

According to the business, the new site will enable it to provide the western states and Canada with improved delivery times of four days or less. The facility will improve Bedgear’s direct-to-consumer fulfillment while also increasing the company’s manufacturing capacity. By 2025, that portion of the operation will be completely functional.

Eugene Alletto, founder and CEO of Bedgear, stated, “This move not only aligns with our mission to enhance recovery through proper sleep but also positions us within a community that shares our values and passion for health, wellness, and the great outdoors.” “We are thrilled to work with local partners and interact with a community that values business, technology, wellness, and an active lifestyle. Salt Lake City provides an inspiring environment for innovation.” By working together, we can keep transforming how people rest and recuperate.

The Salt Lake City location is part of the company’s network of factories, which also includes its headquarters in Farmingdale, N.Y.; a cut-and-sew and circle knit factory outside of Shanghai; and a vertical 300,000-square-foot South Carolina location that houses production, customer service, direct-to-consumer operations, and more. Bedgear also collaborates with a Vietnamese contract factory.

In honor of the top of a mountain range, Bedgear has given the new facility the moniker “The Peak.”

Alletto remarked, “What we do at Bedgear every day is no different from summiting a mountain.” We’re always leveling up and doing new things. The Peak in Salt Lake City is our calculated step to improve customer satisfaction, lessen our impact on the environment, and get ready for future expansion in the sleep solutions sector.

In order to commemorate the opening, Bedgear partnered with Ticket to Dream, a group that assists in providing foster children with necessities including fresh clothes, school materials, toys, blankets, and pillows. In addition to 150 sheet sets, 100 mattress protectors, and 100 Performance pillows, Bedgear also provided infant care kits that included pacifiers, diaper cream, wipes, and health kits.

At the official opening, Salt Lake City Mayor Erin Mendenhall and Utah Governor Spencer Cox joined the Bedgear team.

Cox stated, “As you can see, Bedgear was a Utah company prior to their arrival in Utah.” They promote Utah’s most vital values, which include sustainability, service, and giving back—values that are significant to both Salt Lake City and the state of Utah. We hope you’ll feel at home here, and we’re thrilled about what Bedgear can do to improve our community. We also hope that Utah will help you grow your business even more.

Bedgear helped Park City, Utah, native and skier Lindsey Van and the 2014 U.S. women’s ski jumping team by fitting them with Bedgear gear at an RC Willey store, inspired by the team’s quest to compete in the Winter Olympics in Sochi.

Mayor Mendenhall remarked, “It is a unique thing that speaks volumes about the company and the culture that Bedgear has built that the governor and I are here together.” “You possess a really special ethic that is needed not only in the business community but also in the rest of the world, particularly here. Building families, wellness, and community are our top priorities, which is why Bedgear has always been a Utah company, as the governor so eloquently stated. We welcome you with open arms because we know you will fit right in.
