Seattle: Shein and Temu, come on over. With its unique DTC model, Amazon offers incredibly cheap products.
The massive e-commerce company recently opened a beta test for a platform dubbed Amazon Haul in the United States. Haul sells a wide range of goods for $20 or less, the majority of which are under $10, and is only accessible via the Amazon app. Among the categories are technology, fashion, home, and lifestyle.
Similar to the prominent low-cost DTC Chinese e-commerce companies, Amazon offers a delivery window of one to two weeks.
Dharmesh Mehta, vice president of Worldwide Selling Partner Services at Amazon, stated, “We continue to explore ways that we can work with our selling partners so they can offer products at ultra-low prices.” Customers value finding outstanding things at extremely low prices.
Amazon Haul offers over 300 million items in 35 different product categories. Cheap kitchen textiles, table linens like napkins and runners, tea towels, cooking utensils, kitchen prep items, cutlery, and foam mats are currently available under the Home & Kitchen page.
The Amazon Haul platform has its own search, cart, checkout, and buying experience. Additional discounts are available to customers who combine multiple items into a single order, with 10% off orders $75 or more and 5% off orders $50 and higher.
