Tangshan Sanyou and Circ Form Strategic Alliance to Scale Recycled Lyocell Production in China :-
Danville, VA | In a significant stride toward textile sustainability, Sanyou Chemical Fiber, a prominent cellulose fiber manufacturer under Tangshan Sanyou Group, has entered into a long-term strategic partnership with Circ, a US-based innovator in textile-to-textile recycling. This collaboration is poised to scale the use of recycled cellulosic fibers, particularly lyocell, across the textile supply chain in China and globally.
As part of this agreement, Sanyou has committed to purchasing recycled pulp from Circ’s first commercial-scale facility, expected to be operational by 2028, for a five-year period. This partnership will enable the manufacturing of lyocell staple fibers that contain 30% recycled content—marking a major step forward in the adoption of sustainable materials in the fashion and textile industries.
