Indian towel manufacturer Sharvaay is entering the U.S. market with a debut at the New York Home Fashions Market.
The company will focus on three key strengths: speed, flexibility and value. Sharvaay says these strengths can help retailers develop and receive towel programs faster.
Focus on Organic Cotton
Sharvaay is owned by N.R. Patel, chairman of Vaibhav Laxmi Group. The group is a manufacturer and exporter of Indian-grown organic cotton and yarn.
Swapan Nath serves as CEO for home textiles. Rohit Jhanji handles sales and marketing. Meanwhile, industry veteran Daisey Martin has joined Sharvaay as U.S. CEO and head of sales and marketing.
Martin said the U.S. market has a renewed opportunity for organic products. She also said organic towels can offer more than basic solid designs.
Sharvaay plans to combine certified organic fibers with fashion, texture, color and new constructions.
Speed and Flexible Production
The company will showcase its production capabilities during the New York market.
Sharvaay can handle both smaller purchase orders and large-volume programs. This gives retailers more flexibility when developing new towel collections.
The company also focuses on faster product development and turnaround times. Its vertically integrated manufacturing model is designed to support competitive pricing and value.
Wide Towel Range
Sharvaay produces bath, beach, kitchen and specialty towels.
Its range includes:
- Zero-twist towels
- Ring-spun towels
- Jacquard towels
- Yarn-dyed towels
- Fashion-focused towel designs
- Organic and sustainable fiber options
The company also highlights its sustainability efforts. These include renewable energy use and Zero Liquid Discharge at its manufacturing operations.
New York Market Launch
Sharvaay will officially launch its collections during New York market week.
The company will showcase its products at the Moxy Chelsea Hotel, 105 W. 28th St., New York, in the Studios space on the second floor.
With its U.S. launch, Sharvaay aims to build a name in the towel category through organic products, fashion, performance, speed and value.
