Source has launched a new ecosystem of web intelligence companies to support enterprises, startups, AI labs, governments and nonprofits with access to public web data. Announced on October 13, 2026, in Vilnius, Lithuania, the launch comes amid rising demand for data infrastructure driven by AI agents and next-generation search.
The Source ecosystem brings together Oxylabs, Decodo, Webshare, Honeygain and ScrapingBee. The companies will continue operating independently while benefiting from shared research and development capabilities and strategic expansion opportunities.
Growing Demand for AI-Ready Web Data
Source reported a fourfold increase in demand across its companies over the past year. Its services support applications such as AI-powered search, market intelligence, trading decisions and cybersecurity.
Government organisations use web data to detect illegal content and online fraud. Nonprofits also use these services to monitor and expose online disinformation.
“Responsible access to public web data is no longer just a technical tool. It is the core infrastructure for the next wave of progress,” said Vytautas Savickas, CEO of Source.
Investment, Research and Global Workforce
The ecosystem developed from Oxylabs over more than a decade through product development, acquisitions and investments. According to the announcement, a fundraise led by Warburg Pincus valued the business at USD 3.6 billion earlier in 2026.
Source has a global workforce of 800 people across Europe, the United States and Asia. More than 350 employees are developers and engineers. The group also reports more than 180 patents and 215 trademarks.
The launch establishes a shared identity for the ecosystem as demand for public web data grows. Source plans to use its combined capabilities to support research, product development and responsible data access across industries.
