Target Expands Back-to-Campus 2026 with New Brand Collections

Hollister, Threshold and Poppi debut exclusive dorm collections for the 2026 shopping season

Target has expanded its Back-to-Campus (BTC) 2026 assortment with new brand collaborations and exclusive dorm collections as it strengthens its offering for students.

The retailer is introducing Hollister’s first home collection, which will be available from 28 June. The range includes bedding and dorm décor, with most products priced below $50. The collaboration also extends to apparel and accessories.

Target is also launching a Threshold dorm collection for the first time. The retailer said the assortment will feature elevated décor, warm textures and contemporary designs, with most items priced under $50.

Its value-focused Room Essentials brand returns with an updated dorm range that includes colourful bedding and décor. Sheet sets will start at $10, while comforters will be available from $20.

In addition, beverage brand Poppi is introducing a limited-time, Target-exclusive dorm collection. The Poppi x Target range includes robes, decorative pillows, throw blankets, Hydrojugs and mini fridges inspired by the brand’s signature aesthetic. Products in the collection start at $20.

According to Target, more than 50% of its Back-to-School and Back-to-Campus assortment is new for 2026, reflecting an expanded focus on trend-led products and exclusive merchandise.

Commenting on the launch, Cara Sylvester, Executive Vice President and Chief Merchandising Officer, Target, said:

“[W]e’ve put together an assortment with more trend-forward style, great design and unrivaled value than ever before.”
