Trident Limited has been awarded the prestigious Gold Trophy for Global Exports at the TEXPROCIL Export Awards 2023–24. The award was presented during a ceremony held in Mumbai on May 25, 2026, in the presence of Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, recognizing outstanding contributions to India’s textile export sector.
The recognition highlights Trident’s strong performance in global cotton textile exports and reinforces its position as one of India’s leading textile exporters. The company has consistently expanded its international footprint through a focus on quality manufacturing, innovation, and sustainable business practices.
Speaking on the achievement, Rajinder Gupta, Chairman Emeritus of Trident Limited, expressed pride in receiving the award and noted that it reflects the company’s contribution to strengthening India’s presence in global textile markets. He emphasized that the recognition underscores Trident’s commitment to excellence, innovation, and sustainability while supporting the nation’s vision of becoming a developed economy under the Viksit Bharat initiative.
The latest honour adds to Trident’s impressive export track record. Since 2005, the company has secured more than 30 export-related awards across various categories. Notably, this marks the 19th consecutive year that Trident has been recognized by The Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council, demonstrating its sustained export excellence and leadership in the textile sector.
Established by the Government of India in 1954, TEXPROCIL plays a significant role in promoting cotton textile exports by facilitating trade, enhancing global market access, advocating industry-friendly policies, and supporting sectoral development.
