Vial Packaging Design Creates a Modular Wellness Identity

Independent design studio Presentable has developed vial, a multivitamin packaging and identity project that rethinks how everyday wellness products are presented.

The vial packaging design moves away from clinical and urgency-driven supplement packaging. Instead, it uses a modular visual system to present daily nutrition as a consistent and accessible routine.

The identity is built around a rational grid, restrained typography and a controlled colour palette. Each geometric unit represents a nutrient. Together, the units create a balanced visual system that reflects the cumulative nature of everyday nutrition.

A Modular Approach to Wellness Packaging

The design uses colour as an information tool. Each hue identifies a specific nutrient while maintaining consistency across the product range. In addition, the typography supports clear information hierarchy and easy reading.

The modular grid also shapes the vial logotype and packaging structure. Inspired by modernist composition and modular stacking, the system creates a consistent language across different products.

Presentable also adds an interactive element to the packaging. Integrated checkboxes allow users to mark their daily intake. As a result, the package becomes part of the user’s daily routine rather than simply serving as a container.

Connecting Design With Daily Routine

The vial packaging design focuses on clarity, repetition and usability. Solid geometric forms provide visual stability, while gaps and irregular edges add flexibility to the system.

The approach also draws from India’s design history. Presentable references the 1958 report by Charles and Ray Eames, which highlighted purpose-led design and used the traditional lota as an example of functional design.

According to Presentable, vial applies this purpose-driven approach to a contemporary wellness product. The design connects packaging, information and everyday behaviour through one modular system.

International Design Recognition

The vial project has received editorial coverage across international design and trend platforms. These include The Dieline, Pentawards, Packaging of the World, World Brand Design Society, Branding in Asia, Abduzeedo, TrendHunter and Retail Design Blog.

In India, the project was also featured by WhatPackaging, the sister publication of Campaign India.

Presentable is an independent design studio based in Gurugram. The studio works across brand identity, packaging, digital experiences, retail environments and communication design.
