International exhibitors to showcase sustainable and high-performance yarns as global demand for textile raw materials continues to grow

Yarn Expo Autumn 2026 will return to Shanghai from 25–27 August 2026, bringing together a diverse international lineup of yarn and fibre suppliers as the global textile industry continues to evolve with growing demand for sustainable, high-performance and innovative raw materials.

As one of the industry’s leading sourcing platforms, the exhibition will feature exhibitors serving a wide range of downstream sectors, including apparel, home textiles, medical textiles and industrial applications. Buyers will have access to an extensive portfolio of natural, synthetic and blended fibres, reflecting the industry’s increasing focus on responsible sourcing, product differentiation and production efficiency.

According to industry projections, global fibre production is expected to increase from 132 million tonnes to 169 million tonnes by 2030, highlighting continued demand for textile raw materials across international markets. In response, sourcing priorities are shifting toward materials that offer sustainability, functionality and performance, including cotton, cellulose, plant-based fibres, regenerated fibres and wool.
