Performance fabric manufacturer Sunbrella has introduced On The Road, a new performance fabric collection inspired by the changing landscapes, colors and textures experienced during travel.
The collection features 16 patterns and 187 styles designed for both indoor and outdoor applications, offering designers versatile options for residential, commercial and hospitality projects.
Inspired by earthy landscapes, the collection combines foundational solids, textured weaves, jacquards and decorative patterns. Its color palette includes sand, stone and mineral-inspired neutrals, complemented by coastal blues, botanical greens and sunbaked reds.
According to Greg Voorhis, Executive Director of Global Design at Sunbrella, the collection reflects the evolving scenery encountered during a journey, encouraging designers to explore layered textures and unexpected color combinations.
Among the new introductions is Harvest, a textured striped fabric woven with bouclé yarn and recycled fibers, inspired by seasonal landscapes. Lopi features looped yarns influenced by Nordic knitting traditions, while Savane delivers a linen-inspired appearance with blended tonal hues. Other additions include Tundra, inspired by traditional hand-weaving techniques, and Wander, a softly textured fabric designed as a versatile layering material.
The collection is manufactured using Sunbrella’s Color to the Core technology, which helps fabrics resist fading, stains and everyday wear while maintaining long-lasting color performance.
Founded in 1961, Sunbrella develops performance fabrics for residential, commercial and marine applications. The company said the new collection balances durability with design versatility, supporting designers in creating high-performance indoor and outdoor living environments.
The On The Road collection is now available through Sunbrella, with members of the company’s trade program eligible for preferred pricing and additional benefits.
