The Bear House Crosses 500 Retail Points of Sale

Menswear brand The Bear House has expanded its retail presence to more than 500 points of sale across India and international markets, marking a key milestone in its offline expansion strategy.

The brand’s retail network includes 25 exclusive brand outlets, comprising 23 stores in India and two in the UAE, alongside a presence across large-format retail chains and multi-brand outlets. Together, these channels account for more than 500 points of sale.

The Bear House plans to open 30 additional stores during the current financial year as it continues to strengthen its physical retail network.

The expansion follows the company’s recent Series A funding round of approximately Rs 60 crore. The brand has also outlined a roadmap to achieve Rs 1,000 crore in revenue over the coming years.

“What started as a Rs 1.5 crore business in 2017 has grown into an estimated Rs 270 crore brand today, and this 500-point-of-sale milestone reflects just how far our retail ambitions have come in a very short time. We built our entire physical retail presence from near zero in just the last couple of years, and we’re not slowing down,” said Harsh Somaiya, Co-founder, The Bear House.

The brand is currently available across more than 10 online marketplaces, including Myntra, Amazon, Ajio, Flipkart, Nykaa and Tata CLiQ.

The Bear House has also reported an increase in average order values. Its online AOV has risen from Rs 750 to nearly Rs 1,700, while the offline retail AOV stands at approximately Rs 5,000.

The brand currently offers products across 18 categories, including shirts, polos, chinos, denim, outerwear, sneakers and perfumes. Its product portfolio primarily caters to urban men aged 18 to 38 years.
